Walking past a photograph is different from scrolling past one. Art is meant to be seen, shared, & celebrated every day.
Hi, I’m Lea Jaye—a 22-year-old photographer and storyteller. I believe that art isn’t meant to be hidden behind screens; it’s meant to be seen, shared, and celebrated every day. Through my lens, I capture moments of curiosity, adventure, and deep connection.
I was only seven years old when my mom, a professional photographer for over 20 years, first hung her heavy camera around my neck and asked me to look through the lens and tell her what I saw. For as long as I can remember, she’s been my greatest mentor, guiding me in both photography and life. From her, I learned to see the world differently.
As I grew older, I discovered film photography and instantly fell in love with it. The rawness, the imperfections, the way it asked me to slow down and be a part of the moment. Film deepened my passion and gave me a new appreciation for how a photograph can live beyond the moment it’s taken.
From that point on, I have found profound comfort in printed photographs, which is why I am dedicated to producing high-quality prints using professional-grade printing techniques and premium materials. Every piece is made with archival inks and papers, ensuring that the colors stay vibrant and the details remain crisp for generations to come. I work with the same fine art printer my mom has trusted for 20 years, based in the small beach town where I grew up—a place that continues to inspire my work.
If you want to know what people really care about, look at the pictures they have hanging on their walls. If you’re like me, that’s the ocean and those who love it.
