Sailor's Delight
Captured on January, 27 2024 on Great Camanoe in the British Virgin Islands with my Canon EOS 650.
My time in the BVI shifted when I found myself aboard a trimaran, sailing from Virgin Gorda to Tortola with a British sailor I had met the day before.
The leeward wind was warm and strong, forming massive, rolling waves. As it swept between the hulls beneath us, a low, almost siren-like hum filled the air. The sailor explained that, under such perfect conditions, the boat levitates just above the water, creating the humming.
It was one of those rare moments when everything aligns, and it became one of the most magically, unforgettable days of my life.
